On the southern sunny slope of Mount Catogne you will find the beautiful Alpine Gardens of Champex. Meandering paths wind between brilliantly coloured rock gardens and lead the visitor over streams and tranquil pools. Ideal for the avid botanist or the casual walker.

Discover a fascinating underground fortress. Built between 1940 and 1943 it was built to protect the two potential penetration roads to the area of Grand Saint-Bernard and Val Ferret. The fortification was used by the Swiss army until 1988. It is entirely burrowed in the rock
