For nature lovers The Alpine Gardens are impressive and just down in the valley the raging waters of the Gorges du Durnand provide a spectacular sight from a network of viewing galleries. Martigny is a delightful Roman town with an ancient amphitheatre, museum and impressive art gallery, La Foundation Pierre Gianadda, where work by Picasso and Rodin alongside other great artists can be seen in a selection of impressive exhibitions.
