Tony Sellers is planning to run from Champex Lac to his home town of Milton Keynes in England in the hope of raising £20,000 for the local hospice in memory of his wife Debbie who died last October at the age of just 54 after an 18-month battle against cancer. Built between 1940 and 1943 it was built to protect the two potential penetration roads to the area of Grand Saint-Bernard and Val Ferret (Switzerland). The fortification was used by the Swiss army until 1988. It is entirely burrowed in the rock, and it has more than 600m of corridors and rooms within the mountain.
